Another year, another May. The month started off with a trip to Wonderland with Matthew and his friends, mega fun! I hadn’t been since I was… in grade 7? I forgot how much fun roller-coasters were! Anuj and I even rode SlingShot which was a blast.

As is summer tradition, I took in another jays game but this time with my lovely girlfriends Hayley and Jordan.

On my way out to the beaches I stopped in at the Toronto Flower Market because flowers are pretty to look at. FYI the market is held on the second Saturday of each month until October in Riverside.

I took a trip home and spent Mother’s Day with my momma bear and the cherry blossoms.

I ended up in Minneapolis for a long weekend. Why? Read about it here.

I experienced my first ever TELUS Days of Giving! Joining nearly 500 other team members, retirees, government representatives, customers, friends and family in Scarborough for a social art rally led by Kirsten McCrea and local non-for profit Mural Routes. I wrote about it here.

John and I went for a walking adventure visiting Sugar Beach, touring Red Path Sugar Factory and walking by the lake. We ended up in Trinity Bellwoods Park and met up with Hayley and Louis for a little knitting, chatting and then food at La Cubana.

Suicide Squad took over my neighbourhood so I ended up hanging out, snapping picture and chatting with some people in the crew. Cool times.

The month wrapped up with a quick visit with my grandparents who flew in from Calgary. We had a nice lunch in the beaches and then made our way to the Viking Bakery. A very short visit but a nice one.

And that was the month! It was a good one, minus being sick with strep throat… that was a bummer. June’s well underway and has been going swimmingly. 🙂
Great as always.
