30 Day Challenge December

It’s been two years since my last blog about a 30 day challenge and I’ve decided that I need to do it again. Why? Well, over the past few months I’ve started off the month with the best of intentions, setting out a new resolution that either never materialises or lasts a mere couple of days. In contrast when I’ve written about these challenges in the past I’ve been able to maintain them. There’s something about putting a challenge into writing and even more so, sharing it with others, that pushes me to stay honest.

So! Here we are, today marks a new month and I’m starting a new challenge. It’s an oldie but a goodie. This month I’m setting myself up for a 30 day yoga challenge… again. Why am I doing this again? Well, I’ve been slowly working on building up my core strength again since my ligament tear and upsetting my nerves in the spring. I’ve been doing the same stretches and exercises and now I think it’s time to slowly and carefully, increase what am able to do and yoga seems like the best fit.

I tried out hot yoga in September but near the end of the trial period I pulled something in my back again… so I know it’s going to be important to take it easy and work my way back into this. I’ll be doing this at home with help from Yoga With Adriene  she has a great free 30 day program that helps you ease your way into the practice. If you’re interested check it out and think about joining me for the challenge!

Great blog Im thinking of joining you on this 30 day Yoga challenge as I started my own yoga workout yesterday , realizing how out of shape I’ve become in this last year! 🙁 Marty actually caught me doing yoga well I guess I woke him up,lol, by all the noise I was making with stretching poses yesterday ! Poses I found quite easy when I was going to yoga class a year ago! So looks like you are on day 6 so I have my work cut out for me doing probably 2 classes a day starting today till I catch up! Hope its all going good for you and Im praying this will be easier than Tony Hortons Yoga 🙂 Hugs ! xo
